After going MIA for a young minute, twins Viggy and Virginia Qwabe are back in the public eye, and this time they are not alone.

Snaps of the former Idols SA contestants on Tira’s social media got tongues wagging this week, with many speculating about what they were cooking up with the renowned producer.

Tira explained that weeks ago he had an interest in working with the twins and now that the thought has come to life, he is set to produce a few songs with the twins.

“We just want to make music. We are busy talking about how we [are] going to do the tracks. And once they can come to the studio, hopefully in the next two to three weeks, we might have some new music.”

Tira said the genre of music would be pop songs, as he wanted to focus more on the commercial sound.

When asked if he had any plans to sign them under his record label, Afrotainment, Tira said their father was the only person who could make that decision.

“It depends, the person who holds the key to anything along those lines is their father who I really find as a good guy.

We had a good meeting yesterday and judging from the conversation we had yesterday I realised he’s very focused. I’m hoping only good will come in the things we plan to do together.”

In the meantime, he has managed to get the twins to feature on his upcoming music video for the song, Woza Mshanami.

“The twins won’t be singing or dancing, they will just be in the video,” he said.
Two weeks ago, social media was in a state of panic after Viggy announced that she was quitting Idols SA, after her sister Virginia was eliminated from the singing competition.

While Viggy didn’t explain her reasons for leaving, many speculated it could be because of rumoured bullying and violence from fellow contestants on the show. However, producers rubbished the speculation.
Tira said the pair were doing well at the moment and were in good spirits.
“I spent a lot of time with them and at the time I realised that they are in good spirits.”

Good News: Now people can no longer add you to WhatsApp Groups without your approval

There is nothing more annoying than being added to a random WhatsApp group. Well, according to WhatsApp, their new updates will ensure that you have an option to accept a group invite.

Recently, WhatsApp announced changes to their group info settings.
In a post, WhatsApp said the introduction of a new privacy setting and invite system to help you decide who can add you to groups.

To enable it, go to Settings in your app, then tap Account > Privacy > Groups and select one of three options: “Nobody”, “My Contacts”, or “Everyone”. “Nobody” means you’ll have to approve joining every group to which you’re invited, and “My Contacts” means only users you have in your address book can add you to groups.

In a blog post on their website, WhatsApp said if a person adds to you a group, a private invite will be sent through an individual chat, giving you the choice of joining the group. You’ll have three days to accept the invite before it expires.

“With these new features, users will have more control over the group messages they receive. These new privacy settings will begin rolling out to some users starting today and will be available worldwide in the coming weeks to those using the latest version of WhatsApp,” the post said.

The South African music duo delivers a love story about an African 'Romeo and Juliet'.

Beloved music duo Mafikizolo is back with another Afro-soul anthem that will tug at your heartstrings.

After close to two decades of serenading South Africans and the broader continent, the talented Theo Kgosinkwe and Nhlanhla Nciza have given us timeless hits including "Emlanjeni", "Udakwa Njalo" and more recently "Khona" and "Love Potion".

Their new single "Ngeke Balunge" is a beautiful love song that sees them returning to the sound that first catapulted them to mainstream success in the early 2000s.

Singing "Ngeke balunge, Ngeke bas'qede" the duo describe how those around them will never succeed in coming between their love for one another because they will always find their way back to each other—just as with Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet.

The mid-tempo track, which was written and produced by the talented Mondli Ngcobo, features the use of a number of instrumentals which speak to the group's original sound and signature style.

The single is the duo's second official release for this year following "Letheka" which was released earlier this year in June. At the beginning of the year, Mafikizolo featured on German artist Ralph GUM's "Uyakhala" and Rafiki's "Ke Nyaka Yole".
