enough is enough with violence and abuse against teachers

The South African Council of Churches (SACC) in Limpopo says enough is enough with violence and abuse against teachers.

Spokesperson for the SACC in Limpopo, Selaelo Nkube says they are also concerned about violence between learners themselves.
The SACC is calling on government to host an Indaba to deal with violence in schools, and all stakeholders to help come up with strategies to fight this.
There’s recently been increased reports of violence perpetrated by learners against teachers across the country.
Nkube says there should be joint efforts from parents, community leaders and government to effectively address violence in schools.
