Limpopo MEC for Transport and Community Safety Makoma Makhurupetje has commended the arrest on Friday, of two police officers  attached to the Burgersfort detectives in connection with corruption.

Constable LP Modiba and Constable RJ Moloto allegedly illegally released suspects who were initially arrested for fraud estimated at the value of R600 million.
It is alleged that the suspects paid the officers bribe amounting to R15 000 to secure their release.
One of the released suspects made a confession which implicated Moloto and Modiba when he was later rearrested and charged.
A crime intelligence led investigation was then conducted which led to the arrest and charging of police officers with corruption.
MEC Makhurupetje has commended the investigating officers for their hard work and dedication.
She has also appealed to the men and women in blue to continue doing their work without fear or favour.
