Veteran radio presenter Xolani Gwala remembered at Sandton memorial
Friends and family of veteran radio personality Xolani Gwala will on Wednesday bid him farewell at the first of two memorial services to be held in his honour.

Gwala died at the age of 44 after succumbing to a lengthy battle with cancer. His family confirmed the news on Friday.

In September 2017, during an interview on 702, Gwala confirmed that he had been diagnosed with colon cancer.

Gwala will be buried in his hometown of Impendle in KwaZulu-Natal on Saturday.
