Kwaito Stars, Mshoza, real name Nomasonto Maswanganyi has died.

 

Prominent Kwaito Star Mshoza realname Nomasonto Maswangayi is no more. According to family members, she passed away in the early hours of the morning after long illness.

Her death brought an end to the short, turbulent life of one of  the country ‘s most gifted artists.

Mshoza, the mother of two,  will be  remembered as one of the most influential musicians of her generation. In March she tested positive for COVID-19 and announced her fears as she was also diabetic.

She died at the age of 37 after a two-decade-long music career she began only at the age of 10.

Nomasonto aka Mshoza’s career started booming back in 1998 where she was a dancer for the popular Kwaito group, Chiskop.

She later jumped ship to singing at the age of 15 where she officially signed up with Bull Dawgs as an artist and recorded he first solo album named (Bull Dawgs First Lady) featuring Mzambiya.

Mshoza leaves behind two kids, a daughter Pride Mnisi (12) and son, Junior Mnisi (10).

At the time of her death, Mshoza had just divorced her husband of six months, Prince Dlamini.
